A TD SYNNEX Pathway for Global Content Delivery
This pathway is for customers looking to improve application performance, security, and reliability by delivering content globally via a Content Delivery Network (CDN). AWS CloudFront securely delivers data, videos, applications and APIs to customers with low latency and high transfer speeds. All extremely profitable to you under TD SYNNEX's private pricing agreement with AWS.
The CDN market is expected to grow to over $100 Billion by 2031.
Currently a $4 Billion market and expected to grow significantly.
The market shows greater than 30% year on year organic growth.
AWS is the only major provider that owns both its global cloud and network infrastructure.
Deliver content to end-users from a network of over 450+ Points of Presence (PoPs) globally, significantly reducing latency for a better user experience.
Protect your applications against common threats. CloudFront is integrated with AWS Shield Standard for DDoS mitigation at no extra cost and can be combined with AWS WAF for protection against application-layer attacks.
Accelerate both static and dynamic content. CloudFront optimizes network protocols and caches content close to users to ensure the fastest possible delivery of your websites and APIs.
Customize your content delivery with serverless compute features like Lambda@Edge and CloudFront Functions. With a pay-as-you-go pricing model, you only pay for the data you transfer, with no upfront fees.
Through our strategic relationship with AWS, TD SYNNEX offers an exclusive CloudFront private pricing agreement. This allows our partners to provide their customers with significantly reduced data transfer rates, making high-performance content delivery more affordable and profitable.
Substantial Cost Savings: Offer your customers pricing that is significantly lower than the standard public rates, especially for workloads with high data transfer volumes.
Increased Profitability: The favorable rates allow you to build healthy margins into your managed services and resale offerings.
Competitive Edge: Win more deals by providing a superior technical solution on AWS at a more attractive price point than your competitors.

Why does the first line show no discount for customers or partners?
This is because the first 1TB of CloudFront data transfer falls into the free tier so there is no charge for anyone.
What is the minimum amount of CloudFront data transfer consumption a partner must commit to in order to access the PPA discounts?
Partners should commit to a minimum of 10TB per month. The first 1TB has no charge, the remaining 9TB is charged to the partner at $0.038 per GB transferred, presenting a 55% discount.
If my customer consumes 41TB per month, is my charge as the partner $0.026 per GB for all 41TB?
No. The pricing on the PPA is cumulative. This means that each preceding tier will attract the relevant per GB pricing. As an example, this is the cost for a customer wanting to consume 300 TB per month:
What if my customers don’t individually consume a minimum of 10TB in CloudFront data transfers per month, but collectively they do. Can I get onto the PPA?
Yes! It is acceptable to aggregate your customers spend. If they collectively consume a minimum of 10TB, you are eligible for the PPA discounts. We would need you to add all of these accounts to the PPA at the same time for this to be effective.
How do I get onto the PPA and get my customers the discounts?
Firstly, engage with anyone in the UK AWS team (the easiest way to do this is via awsuk@tdsynnex.com or use the contact form on this hub). We will send you an addendum agreement that you will need to sign and then we will take the details of the customers including all relevant account numbers). We submit all of this to AWS and then, if we have done this all by the 15th of the month, your new discounts will apply from the 1st of the following month. If we get the paperwork completed after 15th of the month, the discounts will start the month after next. Please note – any new customer accounts will not automatically be added to the PPA – you will need to advise us of any accounts that you wish to add.
Will my customers get to see the guide pricing or can I pass on as much or as little of my discount as I like?
The agreement is between TD SYNNEX, AWS and yourself as the partner. You are responsible for your charges to your customer via your own invoicing.
What if the customers spend increases? Will they automatically move that part of their consumption to the higher discount?
Yes, this will happen automatically. We encourage consumption to increase and will reward this with higher (cumulative) discounts. If the consumption increases dramatically, we will likely recommend a bespoke PPA with AWS directly.
What is my customers CloudFront consumption decreases?
You will be expected to perform a health check/touch point meeting with the customer, with your TD SYNNEX BDM present to uncover any issues.
